Larkin Gayl and The Fraboni Ribbon

Cascade Microphones Ribbon Microphone

The L2 is comprised of two separate dual-membrane solid state microphones contained within a single housing. The capsules are mounted in close proximity on a vertical axis. The upper capsule has the ability to rotate 90 degrees horizontally, relative to the lower capsule. Two groups of three way switches on each side of the microphone control the polar patterns, high-pass filtering and -10db pad for each capsule. Due to the close proximity of the capsules, there is no phase cancellation resulting from time delay between the two signals. The L2 offers a dedicated power supply whereas other companies only include a splitter box.

Note: Additional specifications from Cross Spectrum Labs will be available soon. We use an independent company to provide accurate non-bias detailed specification.
